Georgetown Divide Public Utility District Annexation of Irrigation Customers; LAFCO Project No. 2025-03
On May 8, 2025, the Georgetown Divide Public Utility District (GDPUD) Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 2025-11 to initiate annexation proceedings for 21 parcels seeking raw water service for irrigation. These parcels either currently receive raw water at outside-District rates, have previously received service, or have expressed interest in service and are able to connect to GDPUD’s existing raw water conveyance system. On November 17, 2025, GDPUD submitted an updated annexation map and parcel list expanding the proposal to 27 parcels.
The parcels proposed for annexation are located along approximately five miles of GDPUD's raw water ditch in the Georgetown area, extending from the western intersection of Balderston Road and Wentworth Springs Road to Homewood Drive.
