Application Requirements

INITIAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - due with application:

Landowner Application or Board of Directors Resolution of Application [Sample Resolution]

Landowner Signature(s) and Agent Designation Form - All owners of each parcel must sign. Original signatures are  required.  All signatures must be dated within the first six months of the first signature obtained.

(If petition is submitted by multiple parcels under different ownership, also submit Notice of Intent to File Petition)

Disclosure of Gifts to LAFCO Commissioners

LAFCO Fee Deposit - An initial deposit of at least 50% of the total LAFCO fees is required with the initial application. The remaining deposit is due w with the final application requirements. LAFCO will continue to bill for any additional costs until the project is completed. LAFCO Fee Schedule

FINAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS - due before LAFCO hearing:

Environmental Review:  CEQA Requirements, Environmental Document Filing Fees

BOE Maps: Must meet State Board of Equalization requirements and be approved and signed by the El Dorado County Surveyor's Office.  Contact the Surveyor's office directly at (530) 621-5440.
