Georgetown Divide Public Utility District Annexation of Irrigation Parcels; LAFCO Project No. 2025-03

On May 8, 2025, the Georgetown Divide Public Utility District (GDPUD) Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 2025-11 to initiate proceedings to annex 21 parcels into the District for raw water service for irrigation purposes. The parcels either currently receive raw water at outside-District rates, have received such service in the past, or have expressed interest in such service and can readily connect to GDPUD's raw water conveyance system. LAFCO received the complete application on September 5, 2025.

The parcels proposed for annexation are situated along approximately five miles of  GDPUD's raw water ditch in the Georgetown area, extending from the western intersection of Balderston Road and Wentworth Springs Road to Homewood Drive.
