NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the El Dorado Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible, on March 22, 2023 in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room in Building A, El Dorado County Government Center, located at 330 Fair Lane, Placerville, California 95667.

The public hearing scheduled on March 22, 2023 is to consider the following:

1. The Jomescbo Annexation to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District (EDCFPD); LAFCO Project No. 2022-01. The landowners of APN 105-190-042 are requesting annexation into the EDCFPD – Coloma/Lotus Zone for fire protection and emergency medical services. Annexation is a condition of approval for Tentative Parcel Map P21-0004, approved by the El Dorado County Zoning Administrator on August 17, 2022, to subdivide the 55-acre parcel into four parcels ranging from 10 to 20 acres. The territory is currently undeveloped and no new on-site improvements or other development is proposed at this time. The site is located on the south side of Thompson Hill Road, 200-feet east of the intersection with Lotus Road, in the Gold Hill area. The subject parcel is part of a larger 600-acre service island within EDCFPD's sphere of influence. El Dorado County, as the Lead Agency for this project, prepared and certified a Mitigated Negative Declaration.

2. Adoption of a proposed LAFCO budget and work plan for Fiscal Year 2023-2024.
